Story
Success, we all completed the challenge in less than 12 hours. It was much harder than any of us expected and this was compounded by the awful weather. The bad weather, in addition to making the walk harder, meant we were unable to see the spectacular views from the summit of each peak, but had the advantage of masking the sheer drop at some stages of the climb which would have been disconcerting for people like myself who do not like heights particularly when viewed from a slippery uneven near vertical rockface.
Since we took the new route which avoids some boggy ground the total distance we walked was nearly 28 miles.
Thanks to everyone who sposored us, it was greatly appreciated.
