April the 7^th suddenly seems very close and that will mark the start of my biggest challenge to date , the Marathon Des Sables.  It’s a  gruelling self supported race carrying all food and equipment on our backs as we tackle distances in excess 156 miles, endless dunes , Rocky Jebels as high as Mount  Snowdon in temperatures up to 50° during the day and below freezing at night.

Im really hoping that the  pain of the blisters and unbelieveable chaffing, my general hate of sand (the main reason I avoid beach holidays!)  will be forgotten reflecting on the generosity of you all supporting this worthy cause and the help and support it will bring both children and adults alike with the care provided by Keech Hospice
