My name is Michael pritchard . 34 year old father of 3 . Daughter Ela , and sons Cedri and Dyfan , from Porthmadog , north wales .
9 months back I was suffering with depression, over weight and drinking a lot . So I started running 1-2 miles every other day , really struggled with it but stuck to it , and through running now I haven't had a drop of alcohol in the 9 months , lost 2 stone and feeling much better . So on the 15th of October I will be running 26.2 miles at the Amsterdam marathon for children with cancer charity . Running has helped me , So want to give Something back by running this marathon .
