The Police Unity Tour is a long-distance cycle ride undertaken by hundreds of police officers across the UK, to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty and raise funds for Care of Police Survivors.

Story

Care of Police Survivors (COPS) is a charity that supports the families of police officers and staff who have lost their lives on duty. COPS provides practical and emotional support ensuring survivors have the help they need to cope with such a tragedy, and they remain part of the police family as they rebuild their lives.

The Unity Tour is an annual cycle event that raises money for COPS. Every year a team of cyclists, made up of staff from the 4 Welsh Forces sets off to cycle approximately 200 miles over 3 days finishing at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.  Cyclists from Gwent Police have taken part in this event for the past 4 years and after doing the event virtually last year - we are back again this year cycling the 200 miles from Police HQ to Staffordshire.

The charity relies heavily on fundraising and after a difficult year in 2020 due to COVID, it needs us more than ever to dig deep and raise important funds.

We really hope you can support us to raise money for this incredible charity. Please donate whatever you can, every little helps.

Thanks
