Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be running as part of a team who will be entering the Bristol 10 km race on Sunday 15th May. This is to support our freinds and collegues who are currently battling with breast cancer. They are both still working and keeping upbeat which is real credit to them both. They have already received the support and guidence from the Macmilliam nurses who have provided real emotional care and expertise during this very diffuclt time. Hopefully togther we can raise a few quid so others can benifit from these special nurses.  

Also it will give me a chance get fit. I thought 10km would be quite an easy distance but I have clearly missed a decade and  seriously over estimated my level of fitness !! As I enter my 40th year my bones and joints are letting me know the weekly walk to the chinese is just not enough perperation so I will be out pounding the roads to avoid to much embrassament on the day, and to also make sure I can fit into this XL green stretchy t-shirt they have sent me !! Feel free to shout encouragemnt or abuse should you see me trying to run in the Weston area!!
