Forest Holme Hospice Charity was set-up to ensure that everyone in the local community affected by a life-limiting illness or bereavement gets the care and support they need, either at home or in our dedicated hospice facility. We need to raise £1M each year to deliver the highest level of care.

Story

Michael Richard Bayne 31/12/1959 - 15/01/2016

On 15 January at 22:55 (GMT) my amazing and courageous husband died.I have lost my soulmate, my best companion and friend
My children have lost the best father

Michael was a very good man, who lived life to the full and loved to make people smile and he would have wanted to be remembered not with sadness but as the happy man he was.

Michael always managed to light up a room and ever the entertainer would always tell a story about life.... He was full of enthusiasm, a true character, one of a kind....

Michael loved running, Tangle Foot beer and AFC Bournemouth, as well as walking in the Dorset countryside....

Michael was looked after by the doctors, nurses and staff at the Forest Holme Hospice, during the most difficult days of his life, with kindness and compassion.

They made our children, Andrea, Luca and Juliet, feel welcomed and supported them and me every day we spent at the hospice without question or hesitation.

Your donations will help the hospice to continue to provide their extraordinary care to other families at a time when they're going through sometimes traumatic circumstances seeing their loved ones going through chronic or terminal illness.

We ask that you leave a short tribute to Michael to help us with remembering him as the time passes. You may wish to use phrases such as "I remember when..." Or "If you were here I would..."

Thank you for your support at this very difficult time

Marbellys, Andrea, Luca and Juliet
