We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

On the 24th of March I will be taking on the challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon.

I am running to raise money for Alzheimer's Research having seen now at first hand how terrible an affect dementia can have on a family.

My Mum was diagnosed in the Autumn having declined considerably in recent years. For someone once so inspirational and dynamic it's been incredibly hard to watch.

It's also so frustrating as there is so little anyone really knows about this horrible disease in terms of cause, mitigation let alone a cure. That's why I'm going to be doing everything I can from now on to raise awareness and much needed funds for its research.

Many thanks

Michael
