Michell Instruments Skydive · 9 September 2017
On 9th September (date has been rearranged), six brave and fearless Michell blue devils will be stepping out into the unknown, 13,000 feet (4km) above the East Anglian countryside. We will be experiencing the thrill and exhilaration of a tandem skydive in aid of our charity for 2017, Little Miracles. We will free fall for nearly a minute, reaching a speed of up to 120mph before the parachute is deployed and we float gently down to earth. By combining the skydive with raising money for Little Miracles we get twice the satisfaction – realising a lifetime ambition AND helping local children with special needs in a big way.
So that’s what we’re doing, what can you do for us? You can help us raise money in aid of Little Miracles, a local charity who help support families that have children with additional needs, disabilities and life limiting conditions. Just like everyone else these children need a place to play, laugh and create friendships – Little Miracles provides this whilst the families are able to access the advice, support and care that they deserve by pledging a donation via our Just Giving page or directly to one of the Blue Devils team. Michell Instruments has also kindly agreed to make a generous donation to the charity in recognition of our efforts and we hope you can support us too.
We’ll be taking lots of photos and will be happy to share the experience with you all afterwards, but in the meantime, thanks in advance for your support and donation, however large or small, to this very worthy cause.
