Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I wanted to make sure that my 50th birthday had a lasting impact and so I thought it might be a great occasion to try and raise some money for a fabulous charity which helped me and my family when Dad had a stroke in August 2010.

I set my target at £100 so I am totally overwhelmed to have been able to raise £381 as at 23rd December 2011.  I am really grateful to you for helping me to achieve that.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
