Look Good Feel Better help people with the physical effects of cancer treatment. We run free workshops across the UK, led by expert volunteers. Every workshop offers an invaluable opportunity to talk to others in a similar situation, whilst helping support people with their changing appearance.

Story

Leah and Sophie's mum along with Molly's grandma have both had treatment for breast cancer.

Chemo in particular doesn't just affect you physically, it's also a hugely emotional time - losing your hair, eyebrows and eyelashes really has an effect on how you feel about your body image.  That's even before thinking about mastectomy.

Look Good Feel Better is the only cancer support charity providing practical and very effective free services for women and teenagers struggling with the visible side effects of cancer treatment. LGFB is dedicated to improving the wellbeing and self confidence of women undergoing treatment for any type of cancer. Many beneficiaries feel LGFB helped them gain a sense of control and normality at a time when diagnosis had taken over their lives.
