Abseiling the National Lift Tower (World's tallest permanent abseil tower - 127m) · 10 September 2016

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Having been a Fundraiser for Parkinson's UK for 4 years I'm still inspired by the amazing work of this charity and the incredible strength of so many people affected by this horrible condition.  My Grandad also had Parkinson's so it is a cause close to my heart.  As well as organizing this event I thought it was about time I took on another personal challenge to help raise funds and awareness.  I'm so pleased that having spread the word about this event, friends - Samantha Clark and Aaron Kavanagh said they'd be up for taking on this challenge themselves and will be joining me. It will take a bit of courage for the 3 of us to step over the edge of this 400ft tower and we'd all really appreciate your support in raising funds. Your donations which will help make a big difference (or if you'd like to join us their is still time to register http://www.parkinsons.org.uk/content/abseil-northampton)

Thanks so much
