In memory of Mike Windebank

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Myself, Adam Thornton, Daniel Povey, Daniel Foster, Joe Foster, Brooke Gladman and Ryan Foster are walking 20 miles, from St Mary's stadium in Southampton to Fratton Park in Portsmouth in memory of the lovely Grandad Mike Windebank who we sadly lost recently aged 80. Also for our lovely Nanny Beryl who is 89 this year and has Alzheimer's. It is a horrible and cruel disease that robs people of their memories and ruins lives. We feel like we have lost our loved ones before they have gone and it is so tragic to see them suffering and watch them deteriorating. We are raising money for this charity to help people with this horrible disease as well as their families and to raise awareness.
