On the 23rd of July I am going to be 'Everesting' on Rosedale Chimney Bank. This means I will be cycling up and down the bank as many times as it takes to reach the equivalent height of Mt. Everest, 8,848 metres (29,029 ft). This is a recognized challenge, you can read the rules via the Hells 500 website here: http://www.everesting.cc/the-rules/

I have chosen to raise money for Alzheimer's Research UK as my Father has been struggling with the condition for quite some time. The disease leaves sufferers with memory loss, confusion and disorientation, I can only imagine how distressing this must feel. Families and friends are also affected by this heartbreaking condition as they helplessly watch their loved one fade away. 

I am grateful for any donation you can make to help support sufferers and their families and work towards finding a cure for this heartbreaking disease. I also have another fundraising page for Rosedale Care Home who are doing a fantastic job looking after both of my parents.
