For more than 28 years, Wintercomfort has supported people who are homeless or at risk of losing their home in Cambridge. It is a day centre, open seven days a week. In 2018-19 it supported 836 individuals making more than 22,000 visits to its centre for support.

I am particularly keen to support Wintercomfort because it is one of CPL's official company charities (in fact, my colleague Chloe redesigned the logo above last year) and it is quite close to where I live.

The 2020 Cambridge Half Marathon will be a particular challenge for me because this time last year I was bent double with three slipped discs and needed a back operation. So I will just be pleased to complete it and hopefully raise a decent amount of money for this important cause.
