Well it all started last April when Lynn and I were watching the Manchester marathon runners going past our house. Suddenly Lynn announced . You should do this next year. So that was it and here I am almost a month away from doing my first and probably last !!!!! MCR marathon. I have decided to run for Christie’s hospital. To boost any donations I will run the marathon in a Manchester City top. 

Anyone who knows me well knows I’m a red. So this is a huge sacrifice that I’m doing to persuade everyone to donate just that little bit extra.

Christie’s has helped care for and cure lots of family and friends and any donations will help them continue this amazing work. We all know people lost to cancer. Struggling with cancer and  people who have survived and are still with us. 

On 16th April I will be running especially in memory of Mark Spate and Mick Dean. I have been inspired by my dad Charlie. My brother in law Andy D. Rob Edwards, Vardy, Boxy,Marie,Debs, Maddie Pedro Muzza and so many other people who have stood up to cancer and battled it in such amazing fashion. They’re all amazing, I know times are hard at the moment but any donation no matter how small would be greatly received.
