I am running the 2014 London Marathon in aid of the Richard Burns Foundation and in memory of my dear brothers Alan and Dave who both succumbed to different brain problems in 2005!

World Rally Champion Richard Burns succumbed to a similar brain tumour to Alan in the same year. The Richard Burns Foundation do great work to raise awareness and to help people with Brain tumours and Brain injuries.

Alan ran the London Marathon himself in the late 90's and Alan, Dave and myself used to regularly run the Taunton half marathon. 

My hope is that despite having older legs I will be able to dig deep and with Alan, Dave and Burnsie on my shoulder I will complete the course without too much trauma.....
