Hi - My mum is 65 years old and is called Maureen but is better known as Mo - she loves walking and we have decided to both take part in the Bristol Memory Walk on 9th Oct to help raise awareness and money towards research of Alzheimer's and Dementia.

Mum used to work for Social Services and has a passion for helping and inspiring people - she has been married to my dad Terry for 45 years this October - she loves spending time here with me and her grandchildren and also time in Spain with Dad where they live the 'good life' of retirement

Mum was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia in 2004 when she was 53 and Alzheimer's in 2013 when she was 62

Mum is always happy and lives in a total state of mindfulness appreciating every moment - a place many of us constantly struggle to achieve!
