Every Christmas for nearly 50 years Martyn Wyndham-Read and his friends has presented “Maypoles To Mistletoe” at Horsham, Crawley and Guildford, The show is a celebration of the seasons featuring traditional songs, customs, stories and dance and for many it has become an integral part of their Christmas. Last year the Guildford Folk Club adapted the show to fit into its club room and this year it has adapted its adaptation to fit on to YouTube. The show has been renamed “Mistletoe Garland” and will be lead once again by Martyn Wyndham-Read. Every year “Maypoles To Mistletoe” has raised money for St Catherine’s Hospice and “Mistletoe Garland” continues that tradition. 

Every day the hospice needs to raise around £19,000 in voluntary donations to provide care and support for people with a terminal illness and their families. As you can imagine this year has been a difficult one and they are anticipating a drop of £1.5m in fundraising income so any help you can give will be much appreciated.
