 I am taking part in our work in Nakuru, Kenya as it is easy to take for granted the luxuries that we all have. The help that we can offer may seem small to us but can make a huge difference to the lives of the people in Kenya and being able to improve their lives will be a great feeling.

Whilst the work that we do there will help the locals, this scheme will also be helping Stevenage FC in the Communtiy to establish a Disability Football Team. This will offer disabled people in and around Stevenage the chance to meet new people and get involved in a new sport. The 2012 Paralympics have drastically improved the awareness of disabled sports and it's fantastic that Stevenage Football Club will also have the chance to branch into this previously unchartered territory.
