Update 15/11/21

Thank you so much for all the love and support I have received from my teachers, friends and family.  It was impossible without your support and encouragement.

This has given me hope and has encouraged me to go even further this year, with that in mind I am going to do 15k run and aiming for £20000.00. It will surly help the needy and will help SKMH to provide great assistance and support.

I have decided to set up this JustGiving page after reading many articles on the devastating effect that Covid-19 has had on charities.

This can be seen through new research which shows that: 

"The devastating financial impact of coronavirus has left nearly 40 per cent of charities and community groups in a worsening financial situation, with two in five organisations reporting that their financial position had deteriorated in the past month."

I ,specifically, have decided to represent Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, as it allows for the support of a charity, which, even despite Covid, may have been impacted, due to the lack of donations, which is as a result of cancer patients, requiring high duty care, which is hard to acquire, due to citizen's low income.

Further, being based, in Pakistan SKHM , has a personal effect on me, having visited Pakistan many times, and witnessed the lack of technological advancements, specifically in Medicine.

To conclude,

I believe it would be a great benefit to the charity, and therefore patients, if you could donate.
