Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

Karamjit Parmar, aged 68, was called upon by God for greater good on 9th May 2019. Given his selflessness personality, once again he didn't say no! Whilst Mr Parmar was well known to all for putting everyone before himself on this occasion little known to us he wouldn't return.

Mr Parmar came to the UK in the late 1960s and worked at Fords Dagenham. His likeable character led to him developing a strong network of friends and a community spirit around Forest Gate where everyone grew fond of him given his forever jolly and helpful nature. His ability to find time for everyone extended beyond the UK, keeping true to his grass roots in India, he maintained strong relationships with friends and families at home and internationally.

As he retired from Fords, together with his wife, he spent his best years caring for his beloved mother, to only later hear he himself had cancer days after her death. Despite his illness, he remained strong willed and continued touching hearts around the world, always putting others first, taking pride in putting a smile on people's faces.

His positive and selflessness personality leaves so many happy memories. He will be missed immensely by his family and far beyond. We all loved him dearly xx

We would like to thank McMillian cancer for all the support they provided during the last few months. In gratitude to them we would appreciate your donation in lieu of flowers, so they can carry on the amazing work they do in supporting many other families during their time of most need.
