On 21 April I am attempting the Marathon Des Sables, a self-supported ultra-marathon covering c. 250km over 6 days in the Sahara desert.

I am fundraising for The Felix Project, a charity operating in London which helps to eradicate food poverty and minimise food waste. 

We produce 1.5 times enough food to feed the worldwide population, yet global hunger is on the rise. In London around 1 in 6 children live in food poverty. The Felix Project collects surplus fresh food that would otherwise go to waste from various suppliers and re-distributes it to charities and schools that help feed those who would otherwise go hungry.
