Smile Train is the world’s largest cleft charity, sponsoring 2M+ cleft surgeries since 1999. Our success owes to our sustainable model of training, funding, and equipping local medical teams to provide comprehensive cleft care that’s always there for their neighbours in need.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page for SmileTrain.

We will be taking part in the Mongol Rally which starts in London on July 15th, passes through Mongolia and finishes in Ulan Ude, Russia. The rally thunders 10,000 miles across the mountains, desert and steppe of Europe and Asia during summer. There’s no backup, no support and no particular set route, although we are planning on driving south of the Black and Caspian Sea, (through 19 countries in total). Our Team name is DihatsWho (after our trusty Daihatsu vehicle), which Toby has rebuilt after being hit by a bus. We are doing the trip for charity and hope to raise £1500 for SmileTrain, a charity that provides surgery for children with untreated clefts. We will be visiting Smiletrain clinics in Uzbekistan and Mongolia, every £150 raised will provide surgery for one child.

ALL MONEY DONATED WILL GO TO SMILETRAIN, THE TRIP IS FUNDED COMPLETELY BY OURSELVES.
