Story
I was privileged to receive full and free education, funded by my government and supported and encouraged by my parents. Many other girls and women have not been so lucky, and especially in the current pandemic, girl's education is suffering even more.
I do believe that empowering girls and women to learn and thrives, their immediate communities will benefit indefinitely.
Educating girls is proven to be a lever to reduce poverty, it leads to prevention of child marriage. Educated girls are more likely to be healthier, participate in the work force and with that contribute to their families wellbeing and healthiness.
"If you educate a man, you educate an individual. But if you educate a woman, you educate a nation." African proverb
