What's the charity?

Safe Passage help unaccompanied child refugees to access their legal right to travel safely in Europe. They aim to reunite children with their families somewhere they can rebuild their lives, and provide support settling into new communities. Recently their work has supported children fleeing Ukraine and Afghanistan, and other places where the apparent safety of home was gone overnight. They work with pro-bono law firms so all donations go directly to supporting displaced children and young people.

Alongside practical support for children, Safe Passage campaign for change in the UK asylum system, and the media noise surrounding it. They campaign for safe routes and greater compassion from the government and media - something especially important to me in supporting them.
