Story

Kennedy FitzGerald Architects have two teams running in the very first Belfast City Virtual Marathon Distance Run on Sunday 20th September 2020 to help raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

The Motor Neurone Disease Association in Northern Ireland aims to provide the best possible support to local people living with MND, their families and carers. The branch is run entirely by volunteers. MND is a neurogegenerative disorder resulting in the deterioration of the voluntary muscles used to walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe. There is currently no cure for MND, although recent fundraising campaigns such as the ice bucket challenge funded a research discovery into a key gene which causes the disease, so it really is a case of every penny counts. More information can be found on the Branch’s website: https://www.mndani.com/

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
