The Mr Duffy Challenge for 2017 incorporates two of my passions; the education and well-being of the children at Sevenoaks Primary School, and raising awareness of mental health.

The title of "Building Bridges" was suggested by MIND (the mental health charity).  I think it aptly reflects the relationships that have been established between SPS and MIND during our fundraising campaign so far.

Over the last two years, we have worked with local and national companies and discovered that we have a significant amount in common.  Behind the corporate exterior, there are real people that care and genuinely want to help to support community enterprises in the same way as we do at SPS.

The relationships have proven to be mutually beneficial, and genuine partnerships and friendships have been established.

I would hope that we will continue to "Build Bridges" in the future and that schools, charities and companies will work together for a common cause.
