In September 2018 we're taking part in the West Coast bike ride cycling 600km in 6 days from San Francisco to Los Angeles in aid of VELINDRE CANCER CENTRE.

As we are cycling to Los Angeles, the City of Angels, it seems appropriate that the money raised should be used be used to fund Velindre's very own Angels - the Specialist Nurses. Being diagnosed and dealing with the effects of cancer can be a traumatic time for patients and their families and the specialist nurses provide the highest level of supportive care when it is most needed. Velindre believes that a one-to-one approach and tailored personalised care is essential to every patient and their families and their aim is to provide this, therefore the money we raise will help them towards achieving this aim.

We have pledged to raise at least £12000 (£6000 each) during our fundraising campaign and we need your help. Please donate what you can to this fantastic cause and help us to do our little bit to ensure that Velindre can meet their aim and provide personal care for every single patient suffering with this terrible illness.
