Hello everyone,

Firstly, thank you for taking the first step of navigating onto my page. I am challenging myself physically and mentally to overcome an event that I am certainly not suited for!

For those of you that don't know the Ironman 70.3 Challenge consists of a 1.2 mile swim, followed by a 56 mile cycle and a 13.1 mile run to culminate. It has to be completed in 8.5 hours...which is not that long!

It's daunting and exciting at the same time! I am however, fully committed and have a training regime in place, which I shall stick to rigidly. My lifestyle, my diet and my body is about to drastically change.
