Story

Our Managing Director, James Worthington, will be taking part in The CannonBawz Run on the 27-28th August 2022 in memory of his late father, Mike Worthington, to raise money for Race Against Dementia.

This is an incredibly important cause for us as a business and something that affects us personally. Our founder and James' father, Mike Worthington, sadly passed away from dementia with Lewy Bodies in May 2021, and with over 50 million people worldwide suffering from the disease, we are proud to be aiding the search for a cure.

James will be joined by his co-driver, John Race, Paint Facility & Technical Lead at Charge Cars and one of our valued customers. John's father has been diagnosed with Early Stage Dementia, so the charity is also close to his heart.

The CannonBawz Run is a car rally which has taken hundreds of cars and entrants on exciting journeys all across Scotland, and in the process raising money for Marfan Trust, Race Against Dementia & Rock2Recovery. James will be driving a total of 1500 miles on his journey to Scotland and around the North Coast.

All donations will go directly to Race Against Dementia and we greatly appreciate every donation, whatever the size, to go towards fighting this cruel and unforgiving disease.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
