Story
In September a group of intrepid explorers from within the West Wales rural community will travel from one end of the River Teifi high in the Cambrian Mountains all the way down to Poppit Sands and the Irish Sea.
The trip will take five days, the first on foot, and the rest on the water under the leadership of the Llandysul Paddlers. There will be a small group travelling from the top down to Llechryd Bridge where more paddlers will take to the water, and more again joining in Cardigan creating a flotilla which will travel together down to Poppit for a celebratory party.
The reason for the trip is to raise awareness of the DPJ Foundation's 24hour emergency phone line; supporting people in the rural community who are experiencing poor mental health.
Please support our project. And, please let people know about the work of the DPJ Foundation and their phone line: 0800 587262. If you would like to get involved and help, please get in touch. We'd love to have you on board.
