Story

My name is Matthew, im 14 years old. When i was 8 my Pop Pop (Sergent Major with Prince of Wales own)  passed away from lung cancer. During this time i decided to grow my hair to donate it to the Princess trust but to raise money for other charities too. I grew my hair for 2 years and i shaved it down to the wood. This time im growing my hair for 3 years so a longer wig can be made. This was very difficult the first time I did this. I was bullied, called names, also physically bullied. I never gave up and I won't this time.

My Uncle was also in the Army (Royal signals) and suffers with PTSD. We have been a military family through generations and I wanted to raise money and awareness to help soldiers and their family's with recovery.

I have now been growing my hair again since December 2020. My planned head shave is 10th December 2023.

Please help me reach my target of £7500.00

local events will be carried out to also help with raising money.

Every day, men and women have to leave their career in the Armed Forces as a result of physical or psychological wounds.

Thank you

Matty.

Update.

I am now in my last 9mths of hair growth. Before the big shave. Lots of local events coming up so please keep an eye out for updates.
