London Marathon 2022 · 2 October 2022 ·
I will now be running the London Marathon in April 2023 due to suffering from a ruptured Achilles tendon in August. Training has suffered but I’m determined to run the marathon and cross that finish line. I’ve also decided to run the Great North Run in September as I clearly can’t get enough of running and putting my body through a stupid amount of pain.

Hi all,
That's right, you've read it correctly - I am running the London Marathon AGAIN this year! Despite me vowing to never do it again, I have decided to once again take on the challenge of running 26.2 miles across London in April.
This year is different though as in December 2021, my amazing Nana passed away so I'm running the Marathon in her memory. I have several family members who have Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, as well as friends, colleagues and students I have taught in the past. Diabetes UK's aim is to 'fight for a world where diabetes can do no harm' and I'm hoping with your sponsorship we can slowly help them achieve this.
I really would appreciate your support and encouragement. Any donation is welcome- no donation is too small!
Thanks in advance :)
Narelle xx
