New Brighton Primary School

Claire’s 40 for 40 Run · 30 June 2019 ·
New Brighton Primary have been taking part in the 'Claire 40 for 40' celebrations this year marking 40 years since Claire Cain (the inspiration behind Claire House) was born to help towards their goal of raising £40,000 in memory of Claire.
'Claire loved music and music plays a key role in activities at Claire House on the Wirral and the new Claire House in Liverpool. It costs just over £40k to run the music and care package at Claire House for a year. Through 'Claire's 40 for 40' we want to pay for this provision for a year at Claire House. The music and care package would pay for play workers to work both in Claire House and in children's own homes. They use various methods and technologies to make music accessible and fun to children, tailored to their personal needs. This includes things like Makaton singing, Soundbeam, Resonance Board and going out on trips to concerts.'
The latest efforts in our fundraising will see a group of staff from NBPS joining in on the 2 mile fun run from Seacombe Ferry to Vale Park on Sunday 30th June @ 1:00
