We are a group of teens taking part in an NCS programme. We are hoping to raise money to dontate towards Maggie's centres in Nottingham. Maggie's is a charity which supports people and families who have been affected by cancer. They are situated in the grounds of the City Hostpital. The doors are open to anyone who has been affected, families, people suffering with diagnosis, people grieving and also people in remission. 

Maggie's are able to focus on the psychological effects of cancer and supporting everyone in many ways, from something as simple as a cup of tea and a chat, to even family counselling sessions. 

As a group we are all extremely passionate about supporting a cancer charity but we also wanted to provide aspects of supporting a mental health charity. We feel like this charity combines them both perfectly. Even though maggie's are situated all around the UK, we are able to fundraiser for our local Maggie's centre.
