Eeeeek - the London Marathon 2020 - the 40th Race!
Running the virtual London Marathon might be as close to running the real thing as I’ll ever get, so I wanted to make the miles I pound on the road and Sussex Downs, from training runs to the actual event itself on the 4th October, count!
Having worked for the past 3 years in Mental Health and having recently started a new clinical role within Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust, I feel passionate about providing the best support for everyone in need, and therefore wanted to support the charity Heads On with their vital work for those in Sussex with Mental Health concerns. They are involved and run so many wonderful projects and research:

This is what the charity says about itself:
“Anyone can experience a mental health problem. One in four of us every year.
At Heads On we do everything we can to make things better for the people who come to Sussex Partnership for help, by providing funding for special projects, patient and family support, pioneering research and the transformation of your local mental health hospitals into more comfortable and welcoming environments.
Thanks to the generosity of our fundraisers, Heads On can help to provide the best possible support to people with mental health problems across Sussex and beyond.”
Thank you so much for your support. In these unusual times I don’t want to put pressure upon people to donate if unable to, but I hope by having this page it will raise mental health awareness, and for those who can, aid the needed funds for Heads On to continue their valuable work.
