So there's now just two days until the big race. I completed my last training run in the horrible wind and rain last night - that's dedication! I just want to say a massive thank you to all my amazing friends and family for your support and donations. That's what will get me round the course on the day. I'm actually looking forward to it now - well looking forward to crossing the finish line and having a long-awaited celebratory drink! Thanks again all xxx

Hello all, Just a quick thank you to everyone who has given so generously so far, it's really REALLY appreciated. I've already had to up my target, which is great. I'm up to nine miles now so I'm slowly getting there with just under four weeks to go. But there's still plenty of time for those of you who still want to support me, so please dig deep and give what you can. It will make me dragging my backside around the course all the more worthwhile! Xx
Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.
I am running the Cardiff Half Marathon in October in memory of my beautiful nan, Betty, and aiming to raise as much money as possible for the people at Macmillan Cancer Support, who gave her such great care when she needed it. It's such a worthy charity dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by cancer - something that will sadly touch one in three of us.
The half marathon is a big challenge for me and running 13 miles will be hard. But no where near as hard as it is for the millions of people out there battling this horrible disease. Every time I am out training and feel like giving up, I remember this and keep on going for my amazing nan.
So please dig deep and give what you can,
Thank you!
