David was a wonderfully kind and proud family man who was loved and cherished by those close to him. We knew that.

What we didn't know was how well respected and admired he was by so many others.  To us, he was simply husband and dad. The out pouring of affection that we have witnessed from friends, colleagues, acquaintances and those connected with the Carnoustie community  has been both heart breaking and comforting in equal quantity. He clearly contributed to and impacted on so much and so many. 

David lived with a significant heart condition yet squeezed everything possible into his short life, gone far too soon and leaving a massive gap for us all. 

The current Covid situation is so restrictive and severely limits the opportunity for those who wish to pay respects at this saddest of times.  It's with this in mind that we have established this page to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation
