Julian was fun, adventurous, a proud owner of wicked sense of humour, loved travelling, the sea, boats, trying new restaurants, made friends wherever he went, was full of laughter and love, especially for dogs (and latterly one specific cat)

We were due to be married on May the 9th and couldn’t wait to get there. We had many plans, wanted to start a family, see the world and enjoy each other’s company as much as possible. We were very happy. 

Our world changed on February the 7th, when I received a call saying Joolz had collapsed whilst at work and was being rushed to hospital. Joolz had suffered a heart attack and sadly, after 11 days in intensive care, Joolz changed his cosmic address leaving those who loved him in shock and grieving his passing. The care he received in Kettering General Hospital was brilliant, especially in his last 24 hours, when I was able to stay with him, able to lay close and tell him how much he is loved. This is a time I will never forget. 

Joolz didn’t always live a healthy life, we all know that…but he had made many positive changes including quitting smoking, which I am really proud of him for. Life kicks you in the butt and Julian wasn’t ready to go. 

He will be missed so, so much by his friends, family, colleagues… anybody who met him really. It would be good to raise money for the British Heart Foundation to save a life and stop other going through the pain we are going through now.
