Hi and thanks for getting this far, I know fundraising pages are a mile a minute these days...

From September to December, I'm going to be leading a group of 18-25 year old volunteers from both Malawi and the UK.

We will be working with young people in Malawi - primarily girls - in preventing HIV/AIDS, other STIs and unwanted pregnancies, as well as promoting healthy relationships and female decision making.

Whilst my trip is funded by the government through Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), I'm asked to raise £800 for the organisation to support the continuation of their work, which they've been doing around the world for 60 years. They have reiterated that none of the money I raise goes towards the funding of my personal trip.

This is valuable experience for forging a career in the aid sector (something I'm trying to slowly chip away at!) so I truly appreciate any support. Most of you will know that last year I volunteered in Greece with the refugee crisis and this was entirely self-funded. Unfortunately I can't afford to continue self-funding these experiences.

Thank you Xx
