On November 5th 2019 my life changed forever.  My husband was diagnosed with stage IV bowel cancer. Being told that Laurence had cancer again was the worst day of my life, and being told it’s terminal this time, well I wouldn't wish that conversation on my worst enemy. 

Lockdown happened and this was my wake up call to start running again and those that know me I was never a natural runner.  Running has been great for my mental health, it gives me time to myself to process what is going on. So running the London Landmarks half marathon was the ideal opportunity to  embrace my new passion and raise awareness and funds for a charity which has become close to my heart.

Any donation will be gratefully received  to help fund life-changing research into bowel cancer and other bowel diseases.
