At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you. Visit www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are all challenging ourselves to run either 10k or the half marathon in memory of Jamie Hyett who sadly passed away in May after battling cancer. He started at Naunton Park as our site manager and very quickly became everybody's friend. We all adored him for his caring nature and fabulous sense of humour and school is just not the same without him. In Jamie's final week, we told him our plans to run this event in his honour and he chose the charity 'CLIC' for us to fundraise for.

This charity is especially poignant because back in February, an ex-pupil, Ellison Dawes, also passed away after losing his fight to cancer and CLIC is now supporting his family. He was a lovely boy who is remembered fondly by staff so he will also be in our thoughts as we battle to the finish line.

We hope to raise as much money as possible. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
