Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

NCS is a national government funded programme for ages 15-17 to help teenagers discover who they are and their passions. NCS is a four phase programme specifically designed to provide young adults with all sorts of new experiences. So far we have taken part in an outward bound week where we learnt many new outdoor skills and made new friends. Furthermore we have partaken in a weeks trip to the university of Greenwich where we learnt many life skills like budgeting and skills too help us with our independence. For the next two weeks we must choose either an Eastbourne based charity or an Eastbourne founded charity to raise money and awareness for.

As a group we have chosen to support the Ben McNicol Trust as we believe their mission and story is one that is inspiring.

Some of the group knew Ben and the McNicol family who would always lend a helping hand and we believe it is our duty to return the favour. We want to support the McNicol family in providing homely accommodation for families visiting loved ones in the Royal Marsden Hospital, Surrey.

We are aiming to raise £750 from sponsorships and donations before the 19th of July. Our fundraiser is a sponsored bike ride and a hair donation, all sponsors are deeply appreciated as we aim to raise as much as possible for this deserving charity.
