I have seen the effects that the 'Big C' has had on family members and friends and their families. It is my hope to help towards finding a cure and helping the effective research towards this in a humane and safe way.

This is a celebration of my 50 years in the Sport of Judo. I have seen the spectrum of my sport from being a young child in sport to the finals of Olympic Games. 

This is the best opportunity I can think of to bring together all those who have been a part of my Judo journey and a community that has been so much a part of my life.

I certainly hope you can help me celebrate and attend the Gala, however, if this is not possible, I am hopeful that you can appreciate the importance of this charity drive and donate what you can towards this important and life changing cause.
