One of the many victims of Covid has been the impact on charities dedicated to the care of animals. As we slowly begin to return to a kind of new normality, there is even more of a need for extra funding to support their work and as a Cats Protection volunteer up here in Moray, I wanted to make a small contribution. Therefore, and for reasons I am still questioning myself on, I have decided to drag my elderly, arthritic frame a distance of 26 miles 385 yards during the month of April along with others doing the 'Miles for Moggies' challenge. Obviously not all in one go as that would be faintly ridiculous and  for those of  rather more tender years perhaps. However, I am aiming to complete it over 7 days. The training is going well(ish) and with your support for this organisation that means so much to me, I am sure I will reach the target on time.

Progress can be followed through Strava, or will be once I have worked out how to link it to my supposedly smart watch... (smart watch, in total contrast to its wearer seemingly). Maybe just text me and I will tell you how I am getting on!
