Jumbulance Cycle Ireland · 6 October 2019

22 Years creating adventures. Our custom-built Jumbulances offer fully accessible facilities. Our goal is to add to the enjoyment of life by facilitating trips for travellers of all ages, including those with complex health needs, who may feel isolated by insufficient transport or support options.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Since retirement my wife Gill has committed fantastic support as Chair of The Jumbulance Trust and so it is now my turn to help.

From 6 - 13 October 2019 I will be cycling 50-70 miles per day, a total of  427 miles or 687km  of prime Irish Countryside from Mizen Head in the South to Malin Head in the North.  Along with a team of 5 others and a backup team to keep  us fed and watered, I am hoping to raise £10,000 towards the Jumbulance Trust and for their disability ski trip to Austria in January 2020. I am reliably informed that the route will not be flat and may have the odd wet and windy day to contend with! For someone more used to cycling to the nearest pub this could be a tough challenge!

Please encourage me to climb the hills and put up with the wind and rain by donating what you can for this terrific cause which helps so many of the most disadvantaged in our society enjoy a travel experience of a lifetime. Many, many thanks!
