Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi

I've been competing at the British Transplant Games since 2006 the year after my Kidney transplant.

This year I've been given the great honour of representing the UK at the 19th World Transplant Games in Durban South Africa from 28th July till 4th August. The reason for this page is to help me to raise funds to enable me to compete out in Africa. Because although I'll be representing Great Britain it's entirely self funded. I have to cover the costs associated with attending the Training days at Warwick, Team Kit. Flights & Team accommodation. This totals approx. £2000.00.

Above all else the purpose of both the British & World Games is to raise awareness of the to the benefits transplantation can bring. NHS Donor Register 0300 1232323 or Text SAVE to 84118 or go to www.organdonation.nhs.uk
