On the 5th April I will be running the London Landmarks Half marathon in aid of the Ileostomy and Internal pouch association(known as IA) as its a charity close to my heart. 

My partner, Vikki, has been involved with IA for many years having had surgery in both 1996 and 2006. She now lives with a permanent Ileostomy and works closely with this charity in supporting people who are going through the same. 

IA is more than a charity, its the national support group for people living with an Ileostomy or Internal pouch, as well as their family's and friends.

The one to one support that IA provides through it's national network of trained volunteers is a lifeline for so many people who might feel anxious, isolated or overwhelmed when facing life-saving surgery or recovering from their operation.

Any donation you are able to make will make such a positive difference to people who need the support of IA now and in years to come.
