PARAS'10 COLCHESTER · 21 October 2012 ·

The Royal Signals Charity supports Regular, Retired and Reserve Signallers. We do this by providing benevolence grants to those facing distress or hardship. We support our community through grants that look to encourage comradery, corps history and education of our trades.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Myself and Capt Matthews will be taking part in the PARA10 on the 21st October 2012. This is a 10 Mile 'P' Company Cross Country Route, organised by the Parachute Regiment and involves carrying a bergen (rucksack) weighing 35lb (excluding food water) and wearing long trousers with ‘military style’ boots.  Competitors rucksacks will be weighed before and after the race, by race officials. As a guide the Paratroopers Company Selection cut off time is 1 hr 50 minutes and this is the time that we are both looking to beat.

All donations will go to the Royal Signals Benevolent Fund. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
