My wife is the Headteacher at King David Primary school where one of the pupils is the inspirational Joey Levene. He has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy but never loses his smile and he, and his parents are truly amazing.

We decided to run the Man vs Mountain race to contribute some funds to Duchenne Now a zero cost charity looking to find treatments and a cure for Duchenne. I am now actually running Man vs Lakes in July as well. This was a "present" from my wife do allow me to get my competitiveness out of the way so I can do the Mountain event alongside her.
